If you want more Google reviews for your trade business, then you need to avoid the number one mistake we see the majority of contractors making…
AUTOMATING YOUR HIGH TOUCH POINTS!
Make no mistake, asking for someone to leave a review of your business is a BIG DEAL.
You’re asking them to put their name on the line, and stake their own reputation against your business, trusting that you won’t make them look bad and that you’re going to do the right thing.
This is a very personal request that deserves more than an automated ‘Thanks for using XYZ Contracting, if you’re happy with our service, please leave us a review’... that is sent through Podium or Servicem8!
Your customers know that it is automated, and they're going to feel less inclined to risk their own reputation and go out of their way to take the time to help you.
Instead bring up the review on site during the client walkthrough and cash in on their positive emotions.
After leaving, send a personalised text message thanking them for the opportunity to help, and persuading them to leave a review (with the Google Review link).
Once the review has been left, call to touch base, ask how everything is going, and thank them personally for the review (even offer 50% off your callout or consultation fee the next time they need your services).
BONUS TIP:
Prioritise reviews & be proactive.
