  • Why Tradies Should Stop Charging The ‘Going Rate’ NOW…

When it comes to the pricing strategy you implement into your trade and construction business...

Stop focusing on what old mate down the road is charging…

Stop focusing on what your old boss charged back in the day…

Stop focusing on what James from your local Facebook group charges…

And start focusing on your OWN numbers!

YOUR numbers are YOUR numbers.

And they are the only numbers that matter!

Yes, of course competitive analysis has its place, and the market you’re in also has some weight too…

But at the end of the day, you need to focus on your own math and work out your own numbers FIRST!

Far too many contractors are struggling purely because they’ve never taken the time to truly understand their own numbers (and instead are too busy worrying about what everyone else is charging!!!).

The ‘going rate’ is really just a formal title for the minimum amount per hour a contractor is prepared to work for in any given area.

So, unless your goal is to make “just enough” to keep the lights on… or “just enough” to become a slave to your own business…

Then I suggest you stop pricing at the going rate!!!
