People of a lower class financially speaking, on average, speak, think and use between 2,000 and 3,000 words in their vocabulary.
People of a middle class financially speaking, on average, speak, think and use between 6,000 and 8,000 words in their vocabulary.
People who are financially successful, on average, however, speak, think and use between 16,000 to 20,000 words in their vocabulary.
So, how is this all linked?
Well, the science says that the more words you ‘install’ into your vocabulary, the more complex and creative ideas that your mind can actually build into fruition.
This means reading more books (and i mean reading – not listening to audio books) and increasing your vocabulary, will legitimately make yourself more intelligent.
Which in my opinion, is some pretty powerful knowledge...
By reading more books your brain will start adapting and learning these new words, and it will literally inspire your mind to come up with more complicated and more advanced ideas to solve the problems around you.
