Let me tell you a story…
The dodo bird inhabited the island of Mauritus in the Indian ocean, where it lived undisturbed for so long that it lost its need and ability to fly.
It nested on the ground and ate fruits that had fallen from the trees.
There were no mammals on island, just a range of other bird species.
Then in 1505, the island became a popular stopover for ships trading spices.
Weighing up to 20kg, the dodo bird was an easy source of fresh meat for the sailors.
That was, however, until the last dodo was eaten in early 1681…
So, what does the dodo story have to do with your trade business?
Just like the dodo, you’ve likely operated relatively undisturbed since the GFC in 2007/08…
But now the pandemic has hit, and our whole business environment has changed.
