Why contractors need to STOP going into witness protection now!

Congratulations, you’ve won the job!

And here we are one week later texting Karen at 8:30pm on a Tuesday to let her know you'll be starting work first thing tomorrow morning.

Now, did you notice that gap in between…?

Yeah… So, does the customer!

Stop going into ‘witness protection’ once you win the project…

Customers don’t like being left in the dark until you rock up unexpectedly at their front door a week later!

If you go silent, your customer will fall from a feeling of joy and excitement that they’ve chosen the right contractor…

Right down into a feeling of ‘buyer’s remorse’ where they begin to doubt the decision that they just made to work with you!

So, it's important that you're keeping them up to date with your plans, and you're keeping them in the loop - because the last thing you want, is a customer having a poor experience purely through a lack of communication.

Now, it's important to note that there is actually a flip side to this...

We’re not saying spam them!

Because spamming them is no better.

Just try focusing on keeping the lines of communication open through either emails, texts, check-in calls, site visits, etc. and solidify the customers decision to do business with you!

The last thing we want to do is leave them to deal with your voice mail…

Open, honest, and CLEAR communication.

That's the goal.
