  • Why Posting On Social Media Is A Non-Negotiable For Every Contractor!

First and foremost, your followers are watching you whether you realise it or not...

They want to know how trustworthy you are, and this would be a subconscious thing, they may not be actively seeking how often you're posting, but, they want to know that you're reliable and that you're showing up consistently!

Now, from an algorithm point of view you're significantly rewarded for posting consistently, you build a lot of momentum!

And it doesn't even matter how many times you post per day or per week, as long as it's regular because that's how you build the momentum...

If you lose that momentum it's really hard to build back up again.

So to be front of mind, and to be shown to more accounts so you're reach is bigger - it's really important to have a plan in place, and then post not only, regularly, but content consistent with your brand and that resonates with your clients!

There are so many things you can dive into when it comes to marketing your business... whether that be testimonials, proof and credibility, your experience, leveraging your background, your story... all these different things...

But at the end of the day, if I'm an electrician for example, and I want people to know that I'm a great electrician and do a lot of work.

Then quickly capturing content one every single job, spending the short amount of time to upload it onto social media... what does that show?

That you're doing a lot of electrical work!

People are hiring you on a regular basis!!

If you're posting consistently 5-6 times a week, you look more credible.

People will think "Oh look, this guys doing this stuff all the time, he's working more than the other guy... people are using him"

It's almost like a subconscious referral.

People will see you being used, and make the assumption that they should use you too!

And this comes back to the theory of if you had two restaurants which one would you pick?

The busy one or the empty one!
